The Report on Global Agricultural Market and Trade 2023 (Spring) was released during the meeting. (See Annex for the Report’s Abstract.)
The event was attended by over 200 guests, including representatives from foreign embassies in China, international organizations, research and financial institutes, industry associations, multinational agri-businesses, as well as officials from local agricultural authorities and the Center for High-quality Development of International Agricultural Trade.
The forum aimed to create a high level think tank that offers China’s perspectives and views on the development of global agriculture market and trade. From this year on, a spring meeting and a autumn meeting will be held annually, with reports published on a regular basis.
