As we bid farewell to the past year and welcome the new one, the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China (ATPC), and the Agricultural Sub-Council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT-ASC) would like to extend heartfelt New Year greetings to you.

Looking back on the past, we’ve made plenty extraordinary achievements, thanks to the generous cooperation and unwavering backing from our partners, supporters and friends both at home and abroad.

We’ve produced and delivered 300+ comprehensive and in-depth reports on agricultural trade and policies, spanning the spectrum from specific products to overarching industry chains, and from national markets to the broader canvas of global commerce, which are pivotal in inspiring and steering producers, traders, investors, and all stakeholders in the agri-business sector.

We’ve played a constructive role in shaping international regulatory landscape for agricultural trade. Our involvement in 20+ rounds of negotiations within the framework of the World Trade Organization (WTO) and other bilateral and multilateral trade agreements, notably our pivotal role in facilitating meaningful outcomes at the 13th WTO Ministerial Conference, has significantly bolstered the cause of free trade and multilateralism.

We’ve established distinguished international platforms for promoting agricultural trade, including the2024 China Fisheries & Seafood Expo, recognized as one of the world’s top seafood expos, and another two ‌exceptional expos -the 2024 China International Food and Ingredients Expo (Pre-made Food Expo) and 2024 China Potato Expo. Leading the China National Agricultural Exhibition Team, comprised of 1000+ elite companies, we’ve participated in 10 globally renowned food fairs, introducing premium Chinese agri-food to distributors and consumers worldwide. Together with the UN Food and Agriculture Organization, we’ve celebrated the International Tea Day in Rome and other places, inspiring worldwide growers, producers, and drinkers, and enhancing the appreciation for tea’s role in agriculture, economy, and culture.
