Founded in 2001, Qixia Defeng Food Co., Ltd. is a national key leading enterprise in forestry and a provincial key leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization. The company mainly engaged in planting, storage, processing, exporting, domestic selling and general freighting of fruits, vegetables and sweet potatoes. The company covers an area of 120,000 square meters, with a total construction area of 50,000 square meters. The total storage capacity of air conditioning and cold air storehouse is 32,000 tons. The advanced air conditioning and refrigeration equipment from Italy and Germany are used for fruit storage, with strong technical support and complete facilities. The company’s export volume ranks second among the national fresh apple export enterprises. The company was awarded as "China's Top Ten Apple Export Brands" and "National Top 10 Apple Export Enterprises" by the China Fruit Marketing Association. In the 2020 China fruit brand value evaluation, the value of brand "Defeng" was evaluated at 558 million yuan.

With international advanced science and technology, the company has been improving its product quality constantly. The company has invested in advanced processing and production equipment from Italy and France, built and put 16 leading processing production lines into operation, supporting the establishment of a scientific and professional management system. Therefore, the products quality always maintained a high level. In order to strengthen product quality management, the company has established a standardized base for apples, pears, grapes and sweet potatoes, which has completed the export registration and has been selected into the Rural Entrepreneurship and Innovation Parks (Base) Catalogue of China and "the first batch of high-quality Development Base of Agricultural International Trade Bases in 2021" issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and received the Certification of Global Good Agricultural Practice, HACCP Certificate, National Green Food Certificate, Certificate of ISO22000:2018 Food Safety Management System, and Certificate of ISO9001:2015 International Quality Management System. In September 2020, the company’s products were approved by the State Intellectual Property Office to use the special geographical indication marks and has been protected as geographical indication products ever since. The high-quality Defeng fruits are well known and popular in domestic and international markets, such as the markets in Southeast Asia, Middle East and North America.
