It engages in negotiations of the agricultural provisions of regional and bilateral Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and conducts research into related issues to propose negotiation plans. It also participates in feasibility studies on potential FTAs and carries out research into agricultural trade policies and strategies for developing Free Trade Zones to provide advice based on the results.
